Course Objective and Content

Course Objectives: Important, common, and essential diseases that may require urgent intervention
to train physicians who can diagnose and regulate their treatment.
Course Content: Covers basic information, management, and primary care treatment practices of common diseases in the emergency department to cover the learning objectives specified in the Core Training Program in the field of Emergency Medicine.
Covers per-patient practices, Treatment practices, Emergency intervention, Prescribing, Attending seminars and department meetings, seizures, case discussions.

Learning Outcomes

The students who have succeeded in this course;
1) Learns medical practices in emergency and first aid.
2) Recognizes and treats life-threatening conditions.
3) Performs physical examinations for anamnesis and general-problem from emergency patients.
4) Basic life support – gains the necessary knowledge and skills in first aid and advanced cardiac life support applications.
5) Diagnoses and treats poisonings and animal bites and stings.
6) Evaluates the patient according to the Glaskow coma scale.
