| Course Objectives: | The aim of the course is to create basic knowledge about sustainability in interior design; To gain the ability to use sustainable design strategies such as energy conservation, water conservation, material conservation and human health and comfort as data in interior design; To examine environmental performance systems in interior design and to gain the ability to prepare and present research reports on sustainability problems in interior design. |
| Course Content: | Concept of sustainability, sustainability in the built environment, sustainable interior design, sustainable space design strategies according to the lifespan of spaces (temporary, flexible, long-term), certification systems related to environmental performance, environmental performance evaluation of interior spaces, preparation of technical reports. |
