Course Objectives: | To give general information about Chagatai Turkish in the history of Turkish Language, to introduce the language features and major literary figures of the period, to read selected texts from literary works written in this field. To teach how to translate these texts into modern Turkish, to make grammatical studies on the same texts. |
Course Content: | Analysis of grammar and text on Chagatai dialect of Middle Turkish. |
