| Istinye University Vocational School of Health Care Services First and Emergency Assistance Program started accepting students for the first time in 2016-2017 academic year. This program provides 2-year formal education. The language of instruction is Turkish. The aim of this course is to educate health personnel who can provide basic and advanced life support to the sick and wounded in pre-hospital emergency services, provide medical interventions to prevent life-saving and permanent obstacles in the patient, plan and implement the appropriate emergency response approach, and ensure that the sick or wounded can reach the hospitals safely with ambulance. Practice training of the program is done in the laboratories of the college or ambulances. Thus, our students are equipped with theoretical and practical knowledge and receive the necessary training. |
