Admission Requirements

In order for the students to register for the First and Emergency Assistance Program, they must have completed a high school or equivalent education and must have a diploma and a national placement by the Center for Measurement, Selection and Placement (ÖSYM). The students to be enrolled to this programme should obtain a health certificate showing that their body structure and mental health does not prevent them to gain a driver lecience ( the student's height and weight must be specified in the health certificate) from state or university hospitals. Due to the necessity to use vehicles in the 2nd year of the program, they must have completed the age of 17 at the date of registration; not to be shorter than 1.65 m in male students and 1.60 m in female students; to have no more than 5 or 15 missing kilos from the last two digits of the height of the length expressed as centimeters; they must have the body and physics competence to carry a patient on a stretcher with a team-mate while working on a team of two for rescue and transportation.
