Istinye University Turkish Language and Literature Department was established in 2017. The quota of our department in 2017 was 60 persons (100% scholarship: 6; 50% scholarship: 54); In 2018, the number of places was reduced to 40 (100% scholarship: 4; 75% scholarship: 18; 50% scholarship 18). The language of instruction is Turkish and there is no English preparatory education. If they choose elective academic and professional English courses during their undergraduate studies, they will be able to graduate in 4 years without reading English at the academic level.
