Qualifications Requirements and Regulations

The duration of completion of the Non-Thesis Master's Program is at least two and at most three semesters, excluding the scientific preparation period. Students who successfully complete the credit and non-credit courses and the term project course prescribed in their programs are eligible for graduation. At the end of this period, the student who fails or cannot complete the program is dismissed.

Cyber Security Non-Thesis Master's Program consists of 30 credits (90 ECTS), including 10 credit courses and a master's project. The project course is non-credit and is evaluated as successful or unsuccessful.

The student must enroll in the master's project course in the semester in which the term project is started and submit a project report in accordance with the Institute's thesis writing rules at the end of the semester.

The head of the department/major art department notifies the course and master's project advisor for each student to the Institute by the end of the first semester at the latest. The appointment of a consultant becomes final with the decision of the Institute Board of Directors. The student taking the master's project course must have the term project he/she is obliged to prepare approved by his/her advisor. A term project that is not approved by the advisor is considered unsuccessful and the term project course must be taken again.

The student can choose at most two of the courses he/she will take from among the undergraduate courses approved by the advisor, provided that he/she has not taken them during his/her undergraduate education.

After enrolling in the program, the student can take a maximum of two compulsory and elective courses included in the graduation obligation from other higher education institutions, excluding the project course, with the recommendation of the Institute department head and the approval of the Institute Board of Directors. Exchange programs are excluded from this scope.
