Admission Requirements

Graduates of the faculties' Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Information Systems Engineering and Management Information Systems departments can apply. The equivalence of undergraduate diplomas obtained abroad must be approved by the Council of Higher Education.

Candidates, other than those whose native language is the program language, must have received at least 65 points out of 100 from YDS, e-YDS, YÖKDİL or İstinye University English Proficiency Exam ISTEP, or at least 78 points from TOEFL IBT, or have Must have completed undergraduate and/or graduate studies in a country where the language is spoken.

Must have received at least 55 points from the Academic Personnel and Graduate Education Entrance Examination (ALES). ALES exam requirement is not required for applications from foreign candidates. The procedures and principles regarding the admission to the programs of foreign candidates and candidates who are citizens of the Republic of Turkey and have completed their entire undergraduate education abroad are determined by the Senate upon the recommendation of the Institute Board of Directors.
