Admission Requirements

- Candidates must graduate from a four-year undergraduate programme, primarily from Architecture, Interior Architecture, Interior Architecture and Environmental Design, Urban and Regional Planning, Landscape Architecture, Industrial Design and Civil Engineering.
- Candidates must have an undergraduate or a master’s (with thesis) degree.

- Candidates must prepare a letter of intent and a CV explaining the academic and individual reasons for their aspirations to study in the Architecture Ph.D. Programme. They must be successful in the interview or the selection exam.
- Candidates who apply with a master’s degree must have at least 60 points in the quantitative section of the Academic Personnel and Postgraduate Education Entrance Exam (ALES), and their graduate GPA must be at least 3,0 or equivalent.
- Candidates who apply with an undergraduate degree must have at least 80 points in the quantitative section of the Academic Personnel and Postgraduate Education Entrance Exam (ALES), and their graduate GPA must be at least 3,0 or equivalent.
- Ranking grade is found by adding 50% of the selection exam/interview and 50% of the ALES score. Those who score below 75/100 points in the selection exam or the interview will not be evaluated. In case of equality between the ranking grades of the candidates, priority is given to the candidate with a master's degree. In the case of equality among candidates with a master's degree, the candidate with a higher graduate GPA; among the candidates who do not have a master's degree, the candidate with a higher undergraduate GPA is ranked higher.
