Admission Requirements

Postgraduate Education and Training regulation numbered 29690, published in the Official Gazette on April 20, 2016 by the Presidency of the Council of Higher Education, is implemented at Istinye University Graduate Education Institute.
a) Graduates of universities with a four-year undergraduate degree can apply (Candidates applying to Master's programs with thesis must have an undergraduate GPA of at least 55 out of 100.),
b) Not to have been dismissed from any master's program due to previous disciplinary punishment,
c) It is necessary to get at least 55 points in the (verbal) score type of the program applied for from the Academic Graduate Education Entrance Examination (ALES) conducted by the Student Selection and Placement Center (ÖSYM). The validity period of the ALES exam is 5 years).
d) Foreign language exams whose validity has been accepted by YÖK; For Master's programs with thesis that are taught in Turkish, a minimum of 40 points must be obtained.
e) For male candidates, having completed or postponed his military service.

In accepting students to master's programs; In addition to the ALES score, undergraduate graduation grade point average and, if necessary, foreign language exam scores and interview results may also be evaluated. In case of a quadruple evaluation, the (ALES) result is taken into consideration with at least 50% weight. The weight of the undergraduate success average, foreign language exam and interview results will be included in the evaluation is determined by the relevant board and approved by the University Senate. The evaluation is carried out by the jury formed by the head of the relevant department, preferably from among the faculty members working in their own department and approved by the relevant board of directors, and is finalized by the decision of the relevant board of directors.
