Course Objective and Content

Course Objectives: The aim of the course is to expose students to various methods and media through which they can communicate professionally. Within the scope of the course, there will be film screenings and/or guest speakers to enable students to observe how they can deliver presentations through both traditional and new media. Additionally, students are expected to develop their own visual expression repertoire to present their work by the end of the semester.
Course Content: The course aims to introduce students to the necessary concepts and tools for representing their own designer character and personality through printed and online portfolios. The course consists of two parts. In the first part of the course, students are expected to explore original methods and techniques that will serve as a means to communicate their design ideas through presentations and weekly assignments. Furthermore, they are expected to apply these methods and techniques. Following this, in the second part of the course, students are expected to produce their own printed and digital portfolios based on the knowledge acquired throughout the course.

1) The ability to communicate visually through various representation tools and presentation techniques
2) Organizing, presenting, and designing their own projects in printed or online environments, as well as communicating professionally through visual and written means
3) Creating and presenting their own portfolio with a customized design suitable for the relevant medium
