Course Objective and Content

Course Objectives: In this course, it is aimed that the students reach the current literature information related to the field, evaluate and discuss the information with a critical point of view.
Course Content: It includes the students' access to the literature information about the field, and their critical evaluation of the information they have acquired.

Learning Outcomes

The students who have succeeded in this course;
1) To be able to critically analyze the knowledge gained on obstetrics and gynecology.
2) To be able to synthesize, interpret and evaluate the obtained literature information
3) To be able to transfer the results he has reached to people in the field and/or outside the field

Program Outcomes
1) Based on undergraduate qualifications, to have, develop, deepen and use current knowledge at the level of expertise in order to fulfil the roles and functions of obstetrics and gynaecology nurses.
2) To be able to integrate, develop and share with different groups the comprehensive knowledge gained from the disciplines related to the field of obstetrics and gynaecology
3) To be able to conduct a planned research for the diagnosis and solution of problems in the field of obstetrics and gynaecology.
4) To be able to analyse complex situations encountered in the field of obstetrics and gynaecology, using problem solving methods and developing solutions
5) To publish a scientific article in a national or international journal or to present it in a scientific meeting.
6) To be able to develop strategies, policies and implementation plans in the field of obstetrics and gynaecology.
7) To be able to act ethically by knowing the importance of ethical principles and ethical committees for the individual and society.
8) To be able to communicate orally and in writing in at least one foreign language (European Language Portfolio General Level: B2 Level).
