Course Objectives: | To ensure that individuals who receive first aid training and intervene in accident and injury situations play a decisive role in preventing the patient/injured's condition from getting worse by ensuring the safety of the patient/injured and the environment, saving lives, sustaining life, preventing injuries and shortening the recovery process. |
Course Content: | 1. General first aid information and its importance 2. Assessment of the patient/injured and the scene 3. Basic life support (adult, child, infant) and AED training 4. First aid in airway obstructions 5. First aid in bleeding 6. First aid in injuries 7. First aid in heat stroke, burns and frostbite 8. First aid in shock, chest pain, impaired consciousness and serious illnesses 9. First aid in fractures, dislocations and sprains 10. Patient-injured transportation techniques 11. First aid in poisoning 12. First aid in animal bites 13. First aid in foreign objects stuck in the eyes, ears and nose 14. First aid in drowning |
The students who have succeeded in this course;
