Course Objectives: | Teaching the importance of crew resource management in ensuring flight safety and gaining crew resource management skills in aviation. To ensure that the students have knowledge of flight safety issues in order to reduce human error and minimize aircraft accident crashes. Emphasizing the importance of using all available resources in the most efficient way to ensure a safe flight. Introducing the "SHELL" model, which is the conceptual model of the human factor in aviation. |
Course Content: | The definition of CRM and its impact on flight operation, the importance of CRM skills in ensuring flight safety, Aircraft accident-incident analysis models, effective team work and management, the importance of working together, the use of leadership characteristics, the consequences of communication errors, incidents and accidents caused by CRM failure, and case studies. |
The students who have succeeded in this course;
1) The student understands the purpose and importance of CRM and can explain the human factor issues. 2) Understands time management, importance of teamwork and stress factors for cabin crew. 3) Understands the importance of attention management, situation assessment and decision making skills in terms of ensuring flight safety. 4) Learns how to work with employees except flight crew, total effective communication. |
