Course Objective and Content

Course Objectives: To have information about the place of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) applications in our country and in the world, the way of application, and the benefits they provide to companies.
Course Content: Source, history, development stages (MRPI, MRPII, ERP, ERP II, ERP III) of the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) concept, modular structure, sectoral approaches, project costs, success / failure reasons, used and global KKP brands in our country, project management methodologies topics are covered.

Learning Outcomes

The students who have succeeded in this course;
1) Students learn basic company processes from end to end.
2) Students are involved in purchasing, Production, Sales, Storage, Logistics, Shipment, Human Resources, Financial Affairs etc. Learns how departments work with software systems.
3) Students comprehend the general organizational structure of corporate companies, roles and positions, duty-authority-responsibility areas.
4) Students understand the important issues that need to be considered in the use of ERP and project management.
