Course Objectives: | To give general information about the period of Khwarezm-Kipchak Turkish in Turkish Language History, to introduce the language features of the period and major literary figures, to read selected texts from literary works written in this field. To teach how to translate these texts into modern Turkish, to make grammatical studies on the same texts. |
Course Content: | The basic concepts and characteristics of Khwarezm-Kipchak Turkish and the main texts and authors of the period will be taught. |
