Course Objectives: The aim of the course is to give information about the literary, social and political personality of Nevai, the important poet of the Chagatay field, based on his works
Course Content: The course is about the literary, social and political personality of Nevai, the important poet of the Chagatay field, based on his works.

1) Knows grammatical features of Turkish language.
2) Have knowledge of examining the properties of Turkish within the framework of universal linguistics rules.
3) Establishes the relationship between language and literature, active writing and interpretation activities.
4) Uses computer software, and information and communication technologies at least at the European Computer Driving License Basic Level.
5) Uses Turkish in terms of intonation and emphasis aesthetically; writes accurate, comprehensible, effective articles in terms of spelling and punctuation.
6) Knows and uses the current information and resources in the field.
7) Understands the historical and modern Turkish texts written with different alphabets, transmits them to modern Turkish.
8) Uses the knowledge and skills acquired in the field of Turkish language and literature in other fields of social sciences.
