Course Objective and Content

Course Objectives: To introduce the literature loges of Istanbul in the 19th century.
Course Content: From the formation stage to the present, the importance of literature loges and their contribution to the development of art.

Learning Outcomes

The students who have succeeded in this course;
1) Can comprehend the effect of spaces on the formation of literary works.
2) Can recognize the contribution of art spaces to increase interest in literature.
3) Can understand the effect of the goers of these places on literature.
4) Can recognize literary spaces.

1) Knows grammatical features of Turkish language.
2) Have knowledge of examining the properties of Turkish within the framework of universal linguistics rules.
3) Establishes the relationship between language and literature, active writing and interpretation activities.
4) Uses computer software, and information and communication technologies at least at the European Computer Driving License Basic Level.
5) Uses Turkish in terms of intonation and emphasis aesthetically; writes accurate, comprehensible, effective articles in terms of spelling and punctuation.
6) Knows and uses the current information and resources in the field.
7) Understands the historical and modern Turkish texts written with different alphabets, transmits them to modern Turkish.
8) Uses the knowledge and skills acquired in the field of Turkish language and literature in other fields of social sciences.
