Course Objective and Content

Course Objectives: The aim of this course is to enable students to understand concepts related to health education so that they can provide effective health education, to equip them with the knowledge and skills necessary for effective educational planning, implementation, and evaluation of results, and to prepare them for their role as educators in professional practice.
Course Content: This course covers the educational roles and responsibilities of nurses, the characteristics of educators, basic concepts and theories related to learning and teaching, principles of adult learning, determining health education needs for healthy individuals or patients or continuing education needs for nurses, setting educational goals and objectives, planning education, preparing educational content, using educational methods and techniques, and using technology in education. measuring and evaluating education. Students take an active role in the course through individual and team learning activities; they plan, implement, measure, and evaluate education on a topic they have identified as a team.
