Course Objective and Content

Course Objectives: Examining the relations between literature and science fiction with sample texts, examining the origins, historical development and interaction of science fiction and fantasy with literature.
Course Content: Examining the emergence and development of English science fiction and fantasy literature with examples

The students who have succeeded in this course;
1) Examines works of sci-fi and fantasy genres in depth
2) Explain sci-fi and fantasy genres from psychological, sociological and political perspectives
3) Evaluates the historical development of the species
