Course Objectives: | Students read medium lenght texts on different subjects. Different grammar structures are practised to paraphrase the important points in the reading texts . The use of grammatical English structures is consolidated through oral and written exercises. Students practise paragraph writing. Written assignments are draft-based. Students receive feedback on their papers. |
Course Content: | The aim of the course is to improve listening, speaking, reading and writing skills. |
The students who have succeeded in this course;
1) Students can improve their knowledge of vocabulary and sentence structure. 2) Students can improve listening, speaking, reading and writing skills. 3) Students can paraphrase target structures. 4) Students can use basic sentence structures in upper-intermediate level. 5) Students can write a coherent and cohesive paragraph on a given topic. |
