Course Objectives: | It is aimed to gain knowledge and skills about clinical pharmacy practices in the management of Venous Thromboembolic Diseases, Clinical Use of Anticoagulants, Heart Failure, Common Gynecological Diseases, Peptic Ulcer and Gastroesophageal Reflux, Pain Management, Thyroid Diseases, Antimicrobial Usage Principles, Common Dermatological Problems, Metabolic Syndrome and Obesity |

The students who have succeeded in this course;
1) Knows the role of the clinical pharmacist in the management of venous thromboembolism, its treatment and venous thromboembolism. 2) Knows the clinical use of anticoagulants. 3) Knows the heart failure disease, its treatment and the role of the clinical pharmacist in the management of this disease. 4) Knows common gynecological diseases, treatment of diseases and the role of clinical pharmacist in the management of these diseases. 5) Knows the thyroid diseases, their treatment and the role of the clinical pharmacist in the management of these diseases. 6) Knows peptic ulcer and gastroesophageal reflux diseases, their treatment and the role of clinical pharmacist in the management of these diseases. 7) Knows pain management and treatment and the role of clinical pharmacy in pain management. 8) Knows the principles of antimicrobial use and the role of the clinical pharmacist in its management. 9) Knows the metabolic syndrome and obesity diseases, their treatment and the role of the clinical pharmacist in the management of these diseases. 10) Knows the frequently observed dermatological problems and their treatment and the role of the clinical pharmacist in the management of these diseases. |
