Course Objective and Content

Course Objectives: The objective of this course is for each student;
First of all, it is aimed to raise awareness about the responsibilities of employees about quality and accreditation in health institutions, which are better to teach what the understanding of quality means.
Course Content: The concept of quality development in the history of the concept of quality in the world and in Turkey, standards, accreditation and standardization concepts, the concept of quality in health services, measurement of the concept of quality of health care and health quality standards (SKS Version 5), related to quality measurement in healthcare practices

Learning Outcomes

The students who have succeeded in this course;
1) Quality related basic planning.
2) Form the historical background of quality concept.
3) Explain the importance of quality concept.
4) Define what quality means in health services.
5) It is used in practice by learning quality standards in health after graduation.
6) Applying the quality standards used in health institutions.
7) Explain how quality is measured in the provision of health services.
8) Share the situations showing the poor quality in the current applications with management.

1) Anesthesia technician has professional consciousness.
2) He/She knows the duties, authorities and responsibilities of the anesthesia technician and exhibits ethical behaviors that will carry out harmonious teamwork in the operating room. 1 1 2 1 3
3) He/She has the basic knowledge, skills and equipment suitable to the contemporary health technician approach, to be able to carry out communication with the patient, to take responsibility and to develop solutions when faced with an unforeseen situation related to the field. 2 2 2 2 3 3 3
4) Without giving any harm to patients,he/she gives importance to hygiene asepsis-antisepsis, sterilization, contamination and infection with the basic knowledge about the health care work environment. 3 3 3 3
