Course Objectives: | The aim of this course is to enable students to understand and apply basic digital design principles using Adobe Photoshop software. Students will develop skills in image processing, visual editing, using selection and painting tools, managing layers, editing text, and creating digital compositions using graphic design elements. By the end of the course, students will be able to produce creative visual designs in a digital environment. |
Course Content: | This course introduces the functions of image editing software and the core features of Adobe Photoshop. Key topics include image processing, visual editing, use of selection and painting tools, color and light adjustments, application of design elements in a digital environment, text editing, layer management, texture creation, and filter applications. Additionally, students will work on practical projects to design graphic products such as logos and corporate identity elements. |
The students who have succeeded in this course;
1) Effectively use the core features and tools of Adobe Photoshop. 2) Apply techniques for image processing and editing. 3) Use selection and painting tools to perform digital modifications on visuals. 4) Manage layers, apply filters, and create visual effects. 5) Implement text editing and text effect techniques. 6) Develop original visual compositions following digital design principles. 7) Design graphic products such as logos and corporate identity elements for digital communication projects. |
