Course Objective and Content

Course Objectives: The aim is to ensure that students acquire knowledge about the methods and techniques used in scientific research, to emphasize how scientific research should be presented, how it can be formatted into an article, and what ethical considerations should be observed. Additionally, it is intended for students to reinforce their learning by designing and presenting sample projects on selected topics.
Course Content: The content of this course covers techniques for making scientific presentations and key considerations when preparing presentations; the process of conducting and managing scientific research; methods of data collection and interpretation; guidelines for preparing a project or thesis; the steps to follow during scientific research; how to identify potential issues; how to analyze and interpret literature; discussing findings; and explaining scientific misconduct and essential points in research ethics.
