Course Objectives: | The aim of this course is to analyze contemporary business trends shaping the competitive landscape of emerging markets. Students will examine topics such as digital transformation, sustainability, entrepreneurship, innovation, multinational strategies, local-global dynamics, and shifting consumer behavior. The course is designed to enhance students' ability to think strategically and identify opportunities in rapidly evolving business environments across emerging economies. |
Course Content: | Core dynamics of doing business in emerging markets. Impact of digital transformation and technological innovation. Sustainability and environmental responsibility trends. Shifts in consumer behavior: Millennials, Gen Z, and digital consumption. Entrepreneurship and start-up ecosystems. Strategies of multinational corporations in emerging economies. Integration of local businesses into global markets. Fintech, e-commerce, mobile banking, and platform economies. Crisis management, geopolitical risks, and supply chain strategies. Corporate social responsibility and ethical business practices. Opportunity and threat analysis in emerging markets. Case studies and discussions based on real-world business examples. |
