Course Objective and Content

Course Objectives: The course aims to examine contemporary urban design problems and current debates in this context through various themes.
Course Content: In the context of these discussions in which architecture is associated with urban design and social sciences, contemporary urban theory and practices will be reconsidered using current literature and new discussions will be generated through themes.

1) To gain consciousness of architecture as also an urban practice
2) To be able to comprehend and produce architectural thought within a trans-disciplinary framework
