Course Objectives: | The aim of this course is for the student to be able to explain the statistical tests to be used in analyzing the data of a research. |
Course Content: | This course includes Single group mean t test / Sign test, Significance of the difference between two means in independent groups (Student's t test / Mann Whitney U test), Significance of the difference between two means in dependent groups (Paired t test), Two ratios in independent groups. (Chi-square test, Fisher's exact test), Significance of the difference between two rates in dependent groups (Mc Nemar test), Significance of the difference between three or more means in independent groups (One-way analysis of variance, Three or more means in independent groups). It includes more significance of the difference between means (Kruskal Wallis analysis of variance), Two-way analysis of variance, Covariance analysis, Correlation analysis, Simple linear regression, Multiple linear regression, Factor analysis. |
The students who have succeeded in this course;
1) Ability to explain descriptive statistics methods 2) Ability to explain correlation and regression analysis |
