Course Objective and Content

Course Objectives: This course aims to equip students with an understanding of cities as complex mixtures of conflicting social entities and behaviors; including institutional structures, daily practices, political movements and design interventions.
Course Content: An elective course addressing various forms of urban practices that shapes and transforms the cities and daily urban life. The course will cover a range of issues including social movements, disaster management, racial and gender justice, infrastructure
