Course Objective and Content

Course Objectives: Term Projects is an original work that aims to define a scientific problem or issue, collect data, analyze and discuss the data, and present the results in an order in accordance with the recommended scientific writing rules.

The purpose of preparing the term project is to help the student develop himself by making a scientific research. Thus, as a researcher, the student learns to search for sources, to compile information and documents, to selectively group and evaluate them.

Course Content: The term project, which should be prepared in accordance with scientific research methods, generally consists of the following steps;
• Subject selection; determining the scope and boundaries of the subject
• Do preliminary research on the subject
• Meeting with the advisor about the topic by phone or face-to-face; ARROW. taking,
• Doing a literature review (academic book, article, thesis, etc.)
• Reading, sifting, classifying the sources and marking the places to be included in the project text.
• Outlining the project; titling, segmentation – drafting
• Creation of the project text; write source information in APA style with footnotes. Project text
It should consist of texts containing the student's comments as well as the source information (Periodic meetings can be held with the advisor during this process). The term project should have a minimum of 30 pages and a maximum of 80 pages in total. An average of 50 pages is sufficient.
• APA style bibliography.
• Controlling the project in form and content; spelling checks, check in general
should be done. At this stage, the project should be read carefully several times from beginning to end.
• If the project work is complete, it is sent to the advisor; face project work with advisor teacher
are examined in detail by interviewing face to face and final controls are made.
• The project work is published when the advisory instructor approves.
• Consultant teacher presents the project to the committee that will evaluate the project work. Receives approval from the board,

Learning Outcomes

The students who have succeeded in this course;
1) Understands the definition and process of the project.
2) Knows how to choose the subject of the project, comprehends how to write its purpose and importance.
3) Knows and applies the principles and methods of literature research on the subject.
4) Can select hypothesis/hypotheses or research questions suitable for the project.
5) Plans the research method and implements it under the coordination of the Consultant.
6) Applies scientific ethical rules in his project.
7) He/she writes his/her project in accordance with the Institute Writing Guidelines

Course Flow Plan

1) Coordination meeting with the consultant and determination of the way the project process is carried out and the work schedule -
2) Selecting the project topic alternatively, revealing the purpose and importance of each topic, approving the project topic and starting the working process -
3) Performing a literature review and revealing the existence of the study on the determined subject -
4) Determining the research question or hypothesis/hypotheses, deciding on the research method -
5) Carrying out the work according to the calendar and coordination-1 -
6) Carrying out the work according to the calendar and coordination-2 -
7) Carrying out the work according to the calendar and coordination-3 -
8) Writing the contents of the project in accordance with the spelling guide -
9) Writing the text on which the project will be based, in support of the literature as a basis for the study -
10) Application of the research method and analysis of the data -
11) Execution of the work according to the calendar and coordination-4 -
12) Completion of the project and Consultant Presentation -
13) Finalizing the project according to the feedback from the consultant, obtaining a simulation report -
14) Delivery of the Project in accordance with the spelling guide and Legislation -
