Course Objective and Content

Course Objectives: The aim of the course is to convey to our students how and with what content the energy and cyber security problem and related policies are prepared and their applications in the context of domestic and foreign policies.
Course Content: Classification of energy resources, petroleum, natural gas and alternative energy sources, nuclear energy and weapons, asymmetric warfare, new strategies, post modern threats, cyber security in the global world, cyber security policy of states.

Learning Outcomes

The students who have succeeded in this course;
1) Students learn the basic concepts of cyber security, what the subject covers and sources.
2) Students can evaluate the decision-making processes of the government regarding energy policies.
3) Students can comprehend the methodology and applications of cyber security strategy planning.
4) Studetns can evaluate how approaches to cyber energy security have changed in different countries.
5) Students can understand Turkey's cyber security policies with its past and present.
