Course Objectives: | The aim of lesson; It is to have the basic knowledge necessary to fulfill the professional role and responsibilities in meeting the health care needs of the individual, family and society. |
Course Content: | Within the scope of health promotion and preventive services, it aims to provide a holistic view by considering the healthy / sick individual and society together. |
The students who have succeeded in this course;
1) Defines public health and public health nursing. 2) Applies the nursing process at all levels of protection for the individual, family and society. 3) Defines the roles and functions of the public health nurse in occupational health, school health, elderly health and other vulnerable groups. 4) Makes a health promotion or health education program. |
