Course Objective and Content

Course Objectives: The aim of the course is to gain the assessment ability to determine the effects of diseases and prognosis with objective methods and perspective.
Course Content: This course covers patient assessment methods, posture analyse, anthropometric mesurements, shortness and flexibility assessment, range of motion assessments and muscle strength assessments

Learning Outcomes

The students who have succeeded in this course;
1) Identifies the general problems about the patient and his / her disease.
2) Knows the basic principles of movement, understand the importance of these principles in physiotherapy programs.
3) Learns the postural disorders seen in patients or healthy individuals and to analyze posture from lateral, anterior and posterior perspectives.
4) Learns to assess flexibility and muscle shortness
5) Learns goniometric measurements
6) Learns to assess muscle strength
