Course Objectives: | The aim of the course for each student; Pathologies covered by pediatric rehabilitation (Cerebral palsy, mental motor retardation, congenital brachial plexus injuries, congenital torticollis and neuromuscular diseases) The aim of this course is to teach the necessary theoretical and practical knowledge and evaluation of the patients, to establish the appropriate physiotherapy program and to develop the necessary skills to determine the necessary approaches for rehabilitation. |
Course Content: | It includes evaluation and physiotherapy and rehabilitation issues in diseases that are encountered in the pediatric group, require physiotherapy and rehabilitation, and cause disability and handicap. |
The students who have succeeded in this course;
1) Learn the concept and scope of pediatric rehabilitation. 2) Pediatric group, functional disability, disability and the situation that causes the obstacle. 3) Learns physiotherapy assessments in children with lower motor neuron lesions 4) Children with lower motor neuron lesion may apply physiotherapy rehabilitation program. 5) Learns physiotherapy assessments in children with cerebral palsy. 6) In children with Cerebral Palsy can apply physiotherapy rehabilitation program |
