Course Objective and Content

Course Objectives: The aim of the course for each student;
The aim of this course is to teach the electrophysical principles of electrotherapy, the responses to the electrotherapy modalities commonly used in physiotherapy, and the mechanisms and application methods of low and mid-frequency currents.
Course Content: Electrophysical mechanisms, physiological responses of muscle and nerve, properties of healthy and denervative muscle stimulation will be discussed, basic properties and application principles of low frequency and medium frequency currents.

Learning Outcomes

The students who have succeeded in this course;
1) Learns electrical properties of bulbs.
2) Understand the principles of stimulation of muscle and nerve
3) Gains knowledge and skills about low and medium frequency currents.

1) Knows the basic concepts and terminology, evaluation processes and methodological application principles in the field of physiotherapy and rehabilitation; uses this advanced knowledge in study, research and practice. 2 2 1
