Course Objectives: | The basic aim of the Constitutional Law course is to give information about the basic concepts and subjects of constitutional law in the light of the principle of the constitutional superiority principle and to enable the students to evaluate the related issues. Constitutions are, in principle, founding texts that regulate the establishment and functioning of state organs and that guarantee fundamental rights and freedoms and are based on other norms. The aim of the course is to make these subjects concrete with the transfer of the subjects such as the state, state organs, state forms, constitutional power, democracy, elections, government systems, human rights, compliance with constitution and the practical works to be done. |
Course Content: | In this course, general principles and basic concepts of constitutional law are explained. The subject of the course is the constitution, the making and changing of the constitution. Constitutional state and constitutional movements, legislative-executivejudicial affixes, political regimes (government systems), parliamentary government regime, presidential regime, parliamentary regime, political parties, democracy, elections, electoral systems, fundamental rights and freedoms, and so on issues. |
