Program Information

Occupational Health and Occupational Safety Graduate Program (OHS-YLP) within the body of Istinye University Graduate Education Institute has a Class B authorization certificate to work in the less dangerous and dangerous business areas required by our country with the Occupational Health and Safety Law No. 6331, It aims to contribute to the training of qualified occupational safety experts who can identify, produce analytical solutions and apply the produced solutions in the field, who will ensure the protection and development of working conditions and the health of employees.

Istinye University OHS-YLP is an interdisciplinary program and its target audience is defined in the relevant law (all departments of engineering faculties; medicine faculties; physics, chemistry, statistics and biology departments of faculties of science and literature; all departments of faculties of architecture; all departments of faculties of technical education and faculty of law. business law graduates) are professional groups.

In the article 8.b.2 of the “Regulation on the Duties, Authorities, Responsibilities and Trainings of Occupational Safety Experts” published in the Official Gazette dated 29 December 2012 and numbered 28512, “Engineer, architect, M.Sc. in the field of occupational health and safety or occupational safety. It has been determined by the law that a (B) class occupational safety expertise certificate will be given to those who are successful in the exam to be held for (B) class occupational safety expertise. Based on this, our OHS-YLP graduates will have the right to directly participate in the exams for (B) class occupational safety expertise.
