In 2018-2019, important institutions, organizations and opinion leaders, especially Silicon Valley, emphasized that data literacy will take place at the top of the ten most basic competencies. These statements, which came long before the pandemic, show that data science is positioned in an indisputable place with the data and applications produced only during the pandemic process. This worldwide change is also included in our Country's National Artificial Intelligence Strategy Document for 2021. Data Science Master's Program aims to present this critical data phenomenon as a science and present it with its technical and non-technical dimensions. The program is designed to cover data as a science and to include only practical courses, as well as contents that reveal the effects of data's presence in society, businesses, law, economy, political and social areas.
At the end of the education, the student who meets the conditions specified in the Graduate Education and Training Regulations of İstinye University and successfully completes the courses and the thesis process is awarded a Master's Degree in Data Science (with Thesis). |
