Program Information

The Department of Neuroscience started the master's program with the approval of YÖK in 2017 and started accepting students for the doctoral program as of 2023. The aim of this multidisciplinary program is to gain both general and clinical knowledge about neuroscience, to develop presentation skills, to follow scientific developments in the field and to have the knowledge and skills to conduct research in the field. The program includes compulsory courses as well as elective courses touching on different topics in neuroscience. Students can also choose courses from other Departments and Institutes. The language of education is Turkish. A significant part of the training and thesis period is carried out at the Neurological Sciences Research and Application Center. Our aim is to equip students with basic knowledge about the functioning mechanisms of the nervous system, from the molecular level to behavior, and to provide them with the necessary infrastructure to understand and take part in ongoing research in this field.
