| The aim of the Anesthesia Program is to train anesthesia technicians who can safely and effectively perform tasks in the preparation, initiation, maintenance, and termination of anesthesia procedures under the responsibility and guidance of an anesthesiology and resuscitation specialist. The program provides students with theoretical and practical training in anesthesia and intensive care practices, anesthesia equipment and monitoring systems, patient monitoring, airway management and intubation, parenteral interventions, drug and fluid administration, emergency management, and infection control. Training is supported by laboratory work, simulations, clinical practice, and internships. The program aims for graduates to perform their professional duties in accordance with legislation, ethical principles, patient safety, and teamwork. The language of instruction is Turkish. |
