Our department, aiming to be a representative and implementer of a new understanding, sets out with the goal of acquiring the traditional philosophical culture and, at the same time, implementing a program that enables the utilization of this culture in understanding the present day.
The ability of philosophy to endure for thousands of years is closely related to its multifaceted relationship with the problems of its age. Throughout the ages, philosophy has addressed human beings, society, and nature, thus always being intertwined with the sciences. Nowadays, artificial intelligence studies, especially those related to logic, have been added to these fields. İstinye University's strong academic staff enables our students to take courses in various fields of science according to their interests, to pursue minors and double majors, and to be nurtured as the philosophers of the future. |
