Program Information

In our faculty, a training program including pre-clinical and clinical professional skills training, as well as theoretical courses of basic medicine and dentistry clinical sciences, is carried out regarding the national core education program, aiming to provide quality education with continuous improvements. Our preclinical education program, which includes the first three years, consists of basic medicine courses as well as theoretical and preclinical practice courses of Dentistry Clinical Sciences courses. Basic Medicine theoretical courses are also supported by practice laboratories, “Digital Laboratories” where our students will have access to electronic preparation archive and virtual microscope application, and new technological applications and platforms. In our Professional Skills (Phantom) Laboratory, basic dentistry skills will be gained and the skills of our students are developed before they encounter real patients through models, simulations and simulated patients. Our clinical training program (fourth and fifth years) consists of theoretical courses for clinical knowledge development, as well as dental chairside training, case presentations and discussions, and practical courses in which professional knowledge is reinforced, clinical skills and experience are gained, and professional practice is carried out.
