Course Objective and Content

Course Objectives: The aim of this course is to convey the basic psychological concepts of crime, the psychological and spiritual elements of crime, and to provide knowledge about psychological evaluation in the judicial process.
Course Content: This course covers the psychological elements of crime, domestic violence, dating violence, criminal groups, elderly and child neglect and abuse, hate crimes, children dragged into crime, victim psychology, the mental state of the perpetrator before and after the crime, and violence against animals and nature.

1) The student taking the course can define the field of criminal psychology and its applications.
2) Students taking the course can gain insight into the mental state of the criminal and crime victim.
