Course Objective and Content

Course Objectives: Course Objectives The aim of this course is to introduce students to the major research perspectives in psychology and help them gain a solid foundation in understanding terms and concepts, methodologies, key findings and theories from behavioral, cognitive and biological perspectives.
Course Content: The course mainly deals with the neurological basis of basic cognitive functions in humans. In particular, the evolutionary basis of behavior, perception and sensation, memory, other cognitive functions and consciousness will be discussed.

1) The student who successfully completes this course have knowledge about the basic features of the methods used in the field of cognition and brain
2) The student who successfully completes this course describes basic knowledge of sensation, perception, memory and other cognitive processes
3) The student who successfully completes this course develop research skills in psychology by conducting and reporting a classic experiment in psychology related to cognition and the brain
4) The student who successfully completes this course develop skills in research reviews, research experiment design, application and interpretation of statistical analysis, and critical analysis of reliability and validity in research designs
