Course Objective and Content

Course Objectives: Bu dersin amacı kişiye suç kavramına ilişkin temel psikolojik kavramları, suçun psikolojik ve ruhsal unsurlarını aktarmak ve adli süreçte yapılan psikolojik değerlendirmeye ilişkin bilgi donanımını kazandırmaktır.
Course Content: This course covers the psychological elements of crime, domestic violence, dating violence, criminal groups, elderly and child neglect and abuse, hate crimes, children dragged into crime, victim psychology, the mental state of the perpetrator before and after the crime, and violence against animals and nature.

The students who have succeeded in this course;
1) The student taking the course can define the field of criminal psychology and its applications.
2) Students taking the course can gain insight into the mental state of the criminal and crime victim.
3) The student taking the course can gain insight into the attitude and approach towards crime, criminals and crime victims.
