Course Objectives: | The course aims to developed understanding on the basic concepts and theories of family psychology, family relationships and the theories and techniques to be used when working with families. It is aimed that students learn the basic concepts and theories of family psychology and gain awareness of the therapeutic techniques to be used when working with families. |
Course Content: | Aile Psikolojisi dersinde aile kavramı, kültür ve aile, aile türleri, aile yaşam döngüsü, aile içi ilişkiler, kuşaklar arası ilişkiler, aile modelleri, aile içi iletişim, aile ile çalışırken kullanılacak teknikler gibi konular çalışılacaktır. |
The students who have succeeded in this course;
1) Students who successfully complete this course: Recognizes family psychology as a sub-field of psychology, comprehends its development in the historical process. Knows the working subjects and methods of psychologists working in the field of family psychology. 2) Recognizes the family as a system and explains its ecological system. Explains how the family is affected by the culture they live in. 3) Has information about the changes in family life. Knows the developmental stages of the family life cycle. 4) Explains the role of family on self-development. Comprehends the dilemmas in family communication patterns. 5) Explains family relations and intergenerational relations. When working with families, one sees the problem areas and designs how to intervene and produces solutions. |
