Course Objectives: | It is aimed for the student to comprehend the characteristics of the neonatal period, common health problems, and the roles of the midwife in the neonatal period. |
Course Content: | It covers the interpretation of the situation regarding neonatal health and diseases in the world and in our country, and discussion of policies for care and solution for common neonatal problems. |
The students who have succeeded in this course;
1) Can express midwifery attempts to prevent newborn problems and improve health 2) Gains the ability to identify high-risk newborns and develop an action plan for them. |
