Course Objective and Content

Course Objectives: It is aimed for the student to comprehend the characteristics of the neonatal period, common health problems, and the roles of the midwife in the neonatal period.
Course Content: It covers the interpretation of the situation regarding neonatal health and diseases in the world and in our country, and discussion of policies for care and solution for common neonatal problems.

Learning Outcomes

The students who have succeeded in this course;
1) Can express midwifery attempts to prevent newborn problems and improve health
2) Gains the ability to identify high-risk newborns and develop an action plan for them.
