Course Objective and Content

Course Objectives: The aim of the course is to examine gender equality policies from the perspective of women and health, based on the causes and consequences of gender inequality.
Course Content: It covers the concept of gender, influencing factors, policies to combat inequality and the roles of the midwife.

The students who have succeeded in this course;
1) Explain the concept of gender
2) Discusses the factors affecting gender
3) Can advocate for women's rights in improving government policies on gender inequality
4) Knows the concepts and theories that affect gender roles.
