Course Objective and Content

Course Objectives: It is aimed to acquire basic conceptual and theoretical knowledge about infertile and assisted reproductive techniques, to plan and implement the counseling services to be given to couples, and to gain knowledge and skills about the roles and responsibilities of health personnel in the process of assisted reproductive techniques.
Course Content: Counseling service related to assisted reproductive techniques, regulations, includes explanation of the place of infertility in women's and public health.

1) Defines the causes and risk factors of infertility
2) Tells the psychosocial effects of infertility on couples
3) Explains the procedures for the evaluation of the infertile couple
4) Explain infertility treatment methods
5) Explain assisted reproductive techniques and tell the latest developments
6) Identify the patient's education and counseling needs in the diagnosis and treatment of infertility.
